Job summary

SERVPRO of Howard County in Westminster, MD is hiring for a paid apprenticeship leading to a rewarding career in fire and water damage restoration. The program offers hands-on training, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities for career progression with internal promotions.

Starting pay is $15.00–$18.00 per hour with sick, vacation, holiday pay, 401(k), health, dental and vision coverage, uniforms provided, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas and equipment for work activities.
• Follow production guidelines per Crew Chief directions.
• Communicate clearly with Crew Chief and technicians about customer needs and concerns.
• Perform end-of-day cleanup and leave the job site orderly.
• Follow safety and risk management guidelines on site, in the office, and while traveling.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
• Prepare rooms/areas and equipment for work activities
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per Crew Chief directions
• Ensure clear two-way communication with Crew Chief and other Technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling
• Ability to work on call rotations - 24/7 several weeks a month

Qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid Driver's license
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
