Job summary

The American Red Cross in Beaver, PA is seeking individuals to join our phlebotomy team. No prior medical experience is required as paid training is provided to develop essential healthcare skills and donor care expertise.

You will assist with blood collection at local sites, prepare equipment, ensure safety procedures, and maintain a welcoming environment for donors while delivering lifesaving blood products to hospitals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting or moving heavy items and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of donation.
• Work with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Ensure blood collection meets goals and safety/regulatory requirements.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment at donation sites.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and operate equipment safely.
