Job summary

The American Red Cross Beaver, Pennsylvania location is seeking individuals to join its team and support the blood collection process. You will use healthcare and/or customer service skills to assist with donor flow, transport and set up equipment, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment that meets regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements include lifting/pulling heavy weights and long hours; ability to operate Red Cross vehicles may be required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Responsibilities

• Take time to connect with donors and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for donors.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure collected blood meets safety standards.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and assist with setting up/tearing down equipment at donation sites.
