Job summary

Southwest Power Pool seeks an Operations Developer Intern for a Summer 2027 10–12 week, 40-hour-per-week internship. You will create, test, and implement solutions, document work, and support SDLC processes while gaining real-world experience in a team environment.

The role includes training, and you will deliver a final presentation. This paid internship offers housing if needed and may involve after-hours activities. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Senior year college student pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3.0 GPA or above preferred
• Proficient Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Financial, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of computer business applications and database management systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement solutions for assigned project.
• Provide training and documentation on developed work.
• Coordinate change and release management.
• Analyze customer, business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement technical solutions following SDLC best practices.
