Job summary

Participants begin January 2027, earn $17.00/hour during apprenticeship, and may transition into MA roles with pay range $18.91–$27.98/hour based on experience. Opportunities span multiple Boulder County locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience in any field.
• Must have a High School diploma.
• Willing to enroll in FRCC's Medical Assistant education program upon offer.
• Able to commit to and complete all apprenticeship coursework, clinical training, and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist with patient scheduling and registration.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR.
