Job summary

Wendel is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Albany, NY for the winter or spring. This paid internship provides hands-on experience on HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection projects with mentorship and potential for a full-time opportunity after graduation.

Pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering with Office skills; AutoCAD or REVIT is a plus. On-site work and travel may be required. This role offers real-world design experience and a chance to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Willing to work on-site and travel if needed.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering duties for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection projects.
• Actively work on projects with other engineers, project managers and practice areas.
• Develop skills through mentorship and guidance to design and engineer of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
