Youth Villages is offering paid internships for bachelor’s and master’s students across residential and community-based programs nationwide. Internships are designed with practicum needs in mind, allowing course credit and flexible scheduling. Rolling offers apply, with select locations in Tennessee for summer.

Placements aim to provide hands-on experience in a leading mental health agency, enabling growth while supporting youth and families served.

Formación

• Actively pursuing a Master’s degree in a social services discipline (required).
• Degrees in social work, counseling, psychology, or related fields may be considered.
• Valid driver’s license and access to automobile; mileage reimbursed for community-based work.

Responsabilidades

• Shadows counselors in home- and community-based family sessions.
• Carries a reduced caseload and implements interventions.
• Facilitates individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.
• Utilizes evidence-based practices.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development.
• Accesses clinical trainings.
• Provides transports to various locations as needed.
• Documents in an electronic medical record system (EMR).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Educación

Master’s degree in a social services discipline

Fields including social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy
