Job summary

Matrix Design Group LLC in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Intern for a 2027 Summer Internship. The intern will assist the manufacturing team across all facets of manufacturing and gain valuable industry knowledge.

This paid internship reports to the Production Supervisor and is based at our home office in Newburgh, IN; it is not a remote position. The role involves duties in productivity improvement, safety, documentation, inventory, materials inspection, quality control, and light

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or diploma seeking program, preferably in Engineering.
• Ability to use MS Office and other analytical/planning tools.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing team to improve productivity through evaluations and time studies.
• Contribute to plant safety initiatives and avoid hazards.
• Document processes and maintain records.
• Take inventory and assist in materials inspection.
• Support quality control activities.
• Provide warehouse assistance when needed.
