Job summary

Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) invites you to join its LNA-in-Training program across multiple 2027 start dates. You will earn wages and benefits as a full-time employee while you complete didactic and clinical training for licensure.

The didactic and clinical components run Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. After licensure, trainees transition to full-time roles on their assigned units with 3 twelve-hour shifts and every-other weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for hospital units.
• High school diploma, GED completed or in progress required for Skilled Nursing Facility (Woodridge).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The LNA-In-Training participant performs under the supervision of Licensed Nurses in direct services for patients and assists in unit function.
• Completes assigned duties and is accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.
