University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking candidates for Nurse Assistant Trainee roles on our inpatient units. The program runs five weeks with a full-time schedule and state licensure upon successful completion. After licensure, salary increases as you transition to an LNA on the unit.

Responsibilities include vital signs, responding to call lights, EMR documentation and direct personal care under RN supervision. A 1-year unit commitment is expected after training.

Formación

• Must be 18+ by licensure date.
• Completion of Nurse Assistant Trainee course within 5 weeks of hire.
• Previous patient care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong teamwork and time management are essential on fast-paced inpatient units.

Responsabilidades

• Take vital signs and respond to call lights.
• Document in Electronic Medical Records.
• Provide personal care including bathing, mouth care, toileting and skin care.
