Job summary

The Google Information Technology Apprenticeship in the United States is a Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program lasting 18 months. Apprentices receive on-the-job training, related technical instruction, and career workshops, leading to a nationally recognized credential.

Apprentices will develop core IT skills, including device setup, diagnostics, and network/cloud management, with 40 hours per week dedicated to the program.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience in an IT or a related technical field.
• Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous tasks and manage priorities with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and solve issues for Google's corporate resources, tools, operating systems and applications both locally and remotely.
• Provide remote and user support that includes root cause analysis of IT issues on multiple technologies and platforms.
• Contribute to IT projects for workflow automation and process improvements.
• Practice responsible, effective, and innovative use of AI.
