Job summary

The Google Information Technology (IT) Apprenticeship is a Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program and a structured learning and development opportunity. During the 18 month program, apprentices will participate in on-the-job training, related technical instruction, and career development workshops to develop professional and durable skills.

Upon completion, apprentices receive a nationally-recognized credential, certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree not currently pursued.
• Less than 1 year of IT experience preferred for entry-level apprenticeship.
• Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for Google’s resources, tools, OS and apps locally and remotely.
• Provide remote support including root-cause analysis across multiple technologies and platforms.
• Contribute to IT projects for workflow automation and improvements.
• Practice responsible, effective use of AI.
