Job summary

Google is offering an Information Technology (IT) Apprenticeship in the United States. The program spans 18 months with on-the-job training, related instruction, and career workshops, leading to a nationally recognized credential by the U.S. Department of Labor.

Apprentices will learn to set up devices, troubleshoot hardware/software, manage network/cloud systems, and apply IT security policies. Pay is hourly, with a 40-hour work week, and opportunities to advance after completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or practical IT experience.
• Not currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in IT fields.
• Less than 1 year of IT-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for Google’s resources, tools, OS and apps locally and remotely.
• Provide remote/user support including root cause analysis across multiple technologies and platforms.
• Contribute to IT projects for workflow automation and process improvements.
• Practice responsible, effective, and innovative use of AI.
