Job summary

BMW invites you to a Spring 2027 Full-Time Internship in Santa Monica, CA. You will assist the Interaction Design team, contribute as a content-creating project team member for BMW Brands, and work on cross-industry projects including automotive and consumer products.

You will conduct contextual research, help create design proposals, and develop new tools within the Interaction Design team while supporting the LA studio.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program; US work authorization required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; completed at least 60 college credits; unofficial transcript required.
• Ability to work full-time (20–29 hours/week) and participate in hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Interaction Design team on BMW Brands projects.
• Contribute to content-creating project work for internal initiatives and clients.
• Support cross-industry projects including automotive and consumer products.
• Participate in investigations of traditional and new interaction methods (AR/VR/haptics).
• Help create design proposals and research new tools within the team.
• Support the LA studio across departments.
