Athena is seeking an HR Intern to support day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and policy implementation. This in-person role at our Philadelphia headquarters offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions, data management, and internal communications in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You’ll work with mentors, contribute to cross‑functional HR initiatives, and gain practical experience while delivering high-quality, timely support and ownership over your work.

• Assist with recruitment: postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, reference checks.
• Support onboarding: paperwork, orientations, training coordination.
• Maintain employee files and draft communications for employee relations.
• Contribute to HR projects: performance, diversity & inclusion, engagement, learning.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
