Job summary

Benco Dental is seeking an HR Intern for the Spring 2027 semester in Pittston, PA. You will assist the Culture & People team with talent acquisition, onboarding, HRIS, payroll and benefits administration, while gaining real-world HR experience.

You’ll work with HR professionals in a fast-paced, family-owned environment that values diversity and inclusion. This paid internship offers mentorship, networking and a route to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Ability to work onsite as needed in Pittston, PA
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week
• Preferred GPA 3.2 or higher

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Culture & People, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, associate relations, HRIS, compensation and benefits, payroll, engagement, communication and special projects
• Assist with recruitment, hiring and onboarding: sourcing candidates, building talent networks, posting positions, reviewing applicants and scheduling interviews
• Gain exposure to HR professionals and live HR processes
• Help manage day-to-day administration of Health & Wellness plans, Retirement Benefits, and Leave of Absence Programs
• Partner with Total Rewards on compensation administration and community initiatives
• Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals
• Execute HRIS projects supporting implementation
• Coordinate activities related to culture and associate engagement
• Work in multiple HR systems
• Assist with continuous improvement processes
• Maintain accuracy of personnel files and communicate policy changes
• Support day-to-day operations of Culture & People department
