Benco Dental, a family-owned dental distributor, seeks a Communications Intern for Spring 2027 in Pittston, PA. The role focuses on supporting internal communications, creating content, and assisting with digital media across Benco and the 1930 Ventures portfolio.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and team player with interest in storytelling and social media. Onsite, 15 hours/week, paid internship with mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Communications/Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations program (undergrad or grad).
• Ability to work 15 hours per week.
• Must be local to Pittston, PA area to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Research and write stories for Benco Dental’s weekly companywide newsletter.
• Interview associates and gather information for internal communications.
• Assist with proofreading, editing, and formatting communications.
• Create social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.
• Write and edit social media captions and digital content.
• Maintain social media content calendars and schedules.
• Research social media trends, industry topics, and content opportunities.
• Capture photos and videos at company events, meetings, and other activities.
• Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages.
• Track social media performance and key metrics.
• Support communications, marketing, and special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards to support efficient operations.
• Effectively communicates English.

Benco Dental is searching for a Communications Intern for the Spring 2027 semester.

The Communications Intern will support Benco Dental’s internal communications and digital media efforts. This role will gain hands‑on experience creating content, researching and writing stories, supporting social media, and contributing to communications across Benco Dental and the broader 1930 Ventures portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, and team player with an interest in storytelling, social media, and communications.
