Job summary

CSM Group offers internship and co‑op programs designed to provide meaningful work experience and jump‑start careers in construction management. Interns gain hands‑on project management support, attend meetings, and contribute to safety and quality through daily site inspections.

These paid internships run through the standard summer months, with potential part‑time opportunities during the school year for qualifying students.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent military experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Self‑motivated team player with mechanical aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing scope specification documents and organize related files.
• Assist with creating and updating project schedules, phasing plans, and site logistics.
• Help create project submittal logs and review BRFI’s.
• Solicit bidders for projects and participate in pre‑bid walkthroughs.
• Support in reviewing submittals from Trade Contractors and track work hours and progress.
• Attend progress meetings and take minutes; help maintain project documentation.
