Job summary

Rosendin's Summer Internship Program offers a paid 12-week hands-on experience designed for students ready to take the next step in their professional journey.

As an Engineering Intern, you’ll assist with electrical system design, review drawings, and participate in project meetings on active construction sites. You’ll gain mentorship, exposure to project management, BIM, estimating and procurement, and develop technical, professional, and leadership skills while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with expected graduation date in 2027 or later.
• Familiarity with Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit, MS Office, and engineering analysis software.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow direction, ask questions, and take initiative.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with electrical system design activities, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Support the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Assist with basic electrical calculations, engineering analyses, and project-related deliverables.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
• Support field visits and site observations to gain exposure to project execution and existing electrical systems.
• Learn and utilize industry software, tools, and engineering best practices while providing administrative and technical support to the engineering team.
