Job summary

Rosendin invites motivated students to join our Summer Internship Program, a paid 12-week hands-on experience in electrical construction. You will work with engineers on real projects, gaining exposure to design, BIM, estimating, procurement, and field observations.

Participants develop technical, professional, and leadership skills through mentorship, ownership of meaningful tasks, and collaboration across teams on active projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation date of December 2027 or later in a field aligned with Rosendin’s work, including Electrical/Architectural/Construction/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
• Rising junior or rising senior status preferred.
• Previous construction or engineering internship experience is a plus.
• Familiarity (or willingness to learn) Autodesk (AutoCAD/Revit), Microsoft Office, and engineering analysis software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction and take initiative.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with electrical system design activities, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Support the preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Assist with basic electrical calculations, engineering analyses, and project-related deliverables.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering and construction teams.
• Support field visits and site observations to gain exposure to project execution and existing electrical systems.
• Learn and utilize industry software while providing administrative and technical support to the engineering team.
