Job summary

AHRC New York City Camping is seeking young adults (18-24 yrs. old) for the DSP Paid Internship Program in New York City. This program offers vital training and paid internships at $18 per hour for a maximum of 250 hours.

Eligible participants will gain nationally recognized certification and receive career mentorship. Applications for the Fall Program are now open for individuals seeking a meaningful career in direct support.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be between the ages of 18-24 years old.
• Candidates must live in any of the five boroughs of New York City.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 20 weeks of high-level training.
• Complete paid internships providing support to individuals with disabilities.
• Receive mentorship from industry leaders.
