Job summary

AHRC New York City is seeking Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Adult Day Programs across all five boroughs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–2:30pm (30 hours per week). Pay Rate: $20 per hour. Benefits: None.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver and ability to interpret related information.
• Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
• Flexible in scheduling to meet individuals' needs.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with participants, families, staff and community agencies.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.

• Personal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

• Reasonable flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to the scheduling needs of the individual.
