Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL:

Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field, working toward eligibility for Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

1. Manage and maintain special diets within the school district - work with families, Health Services and Coordinator Child Nutrition
2. Update menus as necessary, providing necessary substitutions with product changes, communicating to staff involved with preparation and meal service.
3. Update production records
4. Maintain nutritional data base to include allergens in products
5. Daily communication with schools regarding portion sizes for meals being served
6. Assist with site reviews
7. Assist with planning caterings
8. Other duties as assigned

PAY INFORMATION

Level DX, starting at $20.00 per hour

Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
