Job summary

HITT Contracting is offering a Commercial Construction Intern position as part of the HITT Futures Program. This 10-week internship is designed to mentor you toward a career in construction management, with hands-on learning and professional development.

The program runs from May 24, 2027 to August 5, 2027, and includes project exposure, site coordination, and document control support, preparing you for roles such as superintendent or project manager.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Previous internship or volunteer/work experience is a plus.
• Strong interest in construction and general contracting.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery with project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, material tracking, and file management.
• Help with bid packages and subcontractor bids.
• Participate in progress reporting and client communications.
• Assist with jobsite responsibilities including drawings reviews, site condition verification, and safety/quality efforts.
