Hoar invites you to join the Future Field Leaders Program as a Construction Coordinator. This hands-on apprenticeship targets recent high school graduates who want a fast-track into commercial construction, offering real-world experience, mentorship from seasoned pros, and exposure to safety, scheduling, and project management.

No college degree is required, and you’ll contribute to active projects while building leadership skills for a potential future in field supervision and project

Qualifications

• Recent high school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Interest in building a career in construction.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work full-time (40+ hours per week).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Participating in daily and weekly safety meetings.
• Assisting with jobsite safety inspections and reporting.
• Learning how construction schedules are developed and managed.
• Tracking project materials and deliveries.
• Supporting quality assurance and quality control efforts.
• Assisting with project documentation and document management.
• Learning the RFI and submittal process.
• Helping verify work is installed according to project plans and specifications.
• Participating in trade partner and project coordination meetings.
• Assisting with punch list development and project closeout activities.
