Job summary

Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation is seeking a Foundation Intern. This in-person, paid internship offers hands-on experience across nonprofit programming, fundraising, marketing, and community engagement.

You’ll support events, assist with social media, and help manage charitable operations while working closely with the Foundation team. The role requires a minimum of two years of college and availability 15–30 hours weekly, including Penguins home games.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent education.
• Ability to work in person in Pittsburgh.
• Flexible schedule requiring 15–30 hours weekly including game days.

Responsibilities

• Support Foundation programs and events tied to youth hockey, wellness, education, and community.
• Assist with coordination of team/alumni events and game-day promotions.
• Assist in community outreach during Penguins home games and events.
• Support fundraising efforts, auctions, and special events.
• Manage social media content drafting and basic marketing materials.
• Maintain CRM records and aid in administrative tasks.
