Job summary

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation is offering a paid internship that supports youth hockey, wellness, education, and community programs. This in-person, part-time role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit programming, fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.

The intern will collaborate with the Foundation team at PPG Paints Arena and the Foundation office, gaining exposure to event support, social media, donor relations, and charitable operations during home games and community

Qualifications

Two years of college or equivalent education.
Ability to work in person in Pittsburgh.
Availability to work 15 hours per week with 15–30 hours total depending on home games and events.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Support Foundation programs and events tied to youth hockey, wellness, education, and community.
Manage social media posts and assist with marketing materials and fundraising tools.
Process charitable donation requests and manage memorabilia authentication.
Update the Foundation’s CRM and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
