The Foundation Intern will assist the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation with the growth of its mission and pillars — youth hockey, wellness, education, and community. This internship provides hands‑on experience in nonprofit programming, fundraising, marketing, community outreach, and charitable operations.
The intern will work closely with the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation team and will gain experience in program and event support, social media and digital communications, fundraising initiatives, charitable donation fulfillment, and community engagement.
Programs & Events Support Foundation programs and events tied to youth hockey, wellness, education, and community.
Marketing & Communications Manage aspects of the Foundation’s social media presence, website updates, and e‑marketing outreach with creativity.
Charitable Operations & Community Relations Organize and fulfill charitable donation requests.
Administrative & CRM Support Update the Foundation’s CRM system on an as‑needed basis.
Required Qualifications Applicants should have completed at least two years of college or demonstrate equivalent education, training, or relevant experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and internet navigation and research capabilities.
