Job summary

OCTA's Learning & Development team is seeking a College Intern to support training programs, onboarding, and leadership development. You will assist with coordinating programs, preparing materials, and analyzing learning data under supervision.

This year‑round paid internship offers hands‑on exposure to employee development and a mentor to guide your growth. The role runs about 20 hours per week, totaling up to 1,000 hours in a 12‑month period, with a pay range of $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Currently enrolled full‑time college student at an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the listed fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Interest in employee learning, training, or HR.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support for employee training and development initiatives.
• Assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining training materials and resources.
• Support in-person workshops and training programs, including onboarding and leadership development.
• Assist with training data collection, analysis, tracking, and reporting.
• Coordinate program logistics and provide support before, during, and after training sessions.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development staff on special projects and other employee development initiatives.
