OCTA's Learning & Development team is seeking a College Intern to support training programs, onboarding, and leadership development. You will assist with coordinating programs, preparing materials, and analyzing learning data under supervision.
This year‑round paid internship offers hands‑on exposure to employee development and a mentor to guide your growth. The role runs about 20 hours per week, totaling up to 1,000 hours in a 12‑month period, with a pay range of $20.00–$23.00 per hour.
Join OCTA's Learning & Development team as a College Intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting employee training, professional development, and organizational learning initiatives. In this role, you will assist with the coordination of training programs, preparation of learning materials, data analysis, and administrative activities that support employee development across the organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to a variety of learning opportunities, including employee onboarding, skill‑building workshops, and leadership development programs.
Under direct supervision, you will perform a variety of professional entry-level duties related to your major field of study and the sponsoring department’s current business operations. As a College Intern, you will be exposed to OCTA’s career opportunities in the transportation industry. You will gain deeper awareness of transportation’s many facets through your OCTA orientation, projects and teams, and internal networking.
OCTA’s College Intern Program is a year‑round paid student/intern program. You will gain real‑world work experience on meaningful projects under the guidance of transportation and marketing professionals. You will have opportunities to strengthen your problem‑solving, communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills while working with a mentor and building your professional network.
The pay range is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on education level. This position is not eligible for employee benefits. The work schedule will consist of approximately 20 hours per week, not to exceed 1,000 hours within a continuous 12-month period.
