Job summary

The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a Transportation Intern for the Organizational Development Office in Tampa, FL. This part-time internship (20 hours per week) offers hands-on experience in training design, program coordination, and talent acquisition aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Compliance with all agency policies and rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, development, and update of training materials, guides, and presentations.
• Support coordination and delivery of Organizational Development programs and events.
• Create communications and promotional materials (flyers, newsletters, emails, SharePoint/Teams content).
• Conduct research on organizational development, leadership, engagement, and performance.
• Support career fairs, college outreach, and recruiting events with materials and follow-up information.
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
