Qualifications

• Willingness to enroll in Star Valley Health's state-approved CNA training program
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR/BLS) certification or able to obtain prior to beginning employment

Responsibilities

• Complete delegated patient care tasks according to training and state regulations
• Observe resident needs and respond appropriately
• Communicate resident status and care needs to the charge nurse
• Promote a cooperative, respectful environment for residents and staff
• Attend required in-service training and educational sessions
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and properly care for equipment
• Accurately document resident care using electronic systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
