During the four-month program you will work toward CNA certification, with CPR certification required. Successful trainees may transition to full CNA roles within our post-acute care facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrolled in State-approved CNA program; may work up to four months; must meet certification requirements to become CNA.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist patients with baths, showers, grooming, feeding, and toileting under supervision.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
