Job summary

Washington Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare offers a fully sponsored Paid CNA Training program in Argyle, NY. Eligible candidates will work at our skilled nursing facility and be paid during the course, with post-training rates of $20.25/hr plus a $0.50 evening/weekend differential and a $1.00 No Frills premium.

Upon completion, CNA duties include observing residents, reporting issues, assisting with hygiene, meals, feeding, and maintaining clean spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.

Responsibilities

• Observing residents in assigned units.
• Reporting health issues to supervising nurse.
• Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath and shaving.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping the residents' space clean and tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility; turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
