Job summary

Heartwood is hiring Resident Assistants for all shifts in Crosby, MN. Training is paid by Heartwood; you can earn while you train, with nursing scholarship options and loan forgiveness. Starting pay ranges from $19.45 to $25.19 per hour, plus holiday premium pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current certification (Minnesota within 4 months).
• Provide high-quality care to residents following regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and physical care to residents to meet daily needs and enable independence.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting.
• Support transferring, repositioning and walking as needed.
• Obtain vital signs and report changes in health status.
• Document care per regulations and best practices.
• Participate in care planning and care conferences as residents' advocate.
• Create a positive dining experience and assist with meals and snacks.
