Job summary

Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center offers a Nurse Aide Training program that is a paid opportunity to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Applicants should embody our culture of caring.

The program includes 30 hours of classroom time and 75 hours of hands-on clinical work to prepare for the state certification test. Participants will gain hands-on experience in resident care while following HIPAA guidelines and center policies.

Qualifications

• Paid training to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
• Includes 30 hours of classroom time and 75 hours of hands-on clinical work.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal service and hydration for residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and mobility tasks.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; record intake and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond to call lights and requests.
• Document actions in forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and related laws.
• Follow professional standards, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
