Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center offers a Nurse Aide Training Program that provides paid employment while you train to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). This program includes 30 hours of classroom time and 75 hours of hands-on clinical work to prepare you for the state certification test.

Selected applicants embody our caring culture; duties include assisting with meals and personal care, monitoring vitals, and maintaining resident privacy in line with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Complete 30 hours of classroom instruction.
• Complete 75 hours of hands-on clinical work.
• Prepare to take the state CNA certification exam.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, showers, and related care.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vitals and weight; record intake and output information.
• Ensure resident privacy and confidentiality; comply with HIPAA guidelines.
