Job summary

Centers Health Care’s Glens Falls nursing facility offers a paid CNA training program with the goal of placing you as a certified nursing assistant after completion. Participants are paid during the class and may secure a role upon successful certification.

After certification, the rates are $18.75 per hour with a $1.00 No Frills bonus and a $.65 shift differential. Daily pay is also available through a trusted third-party provider.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.
• Valid NY State CNA Certification.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep Residents’ spaces clean.
• Transport Residents within the Facility.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident data.

Glens Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is offering a Paid CNA Course for eligible candidates!

Once Certified the rates are $18.75

• $1.00 for No Frills
• $.65 for shift differential!

Participants who successfully complete the course will be offered a position in our facility.

Location of Employment (after training):

Glens Falls Nursing and Rehab located at 152 Sherman Ave, Glens Falls, NY 12801

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program

• Must be 18 years or older
