Centers Health Care in Cooperstown, NY, offers a fully sponsored Paid CNA Training program. Participants who complete the course will be offered a position in our Skilled Nursing Facility. During training, candidates are paid, and after certification, the rate is $18.00 per hour with additional night shift and evening differentials.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document intake; assist feeding and nutrition.
• Make beds and maintain Residents' space cleanliness.
• Transport Residents within the Facility; turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

Once certified, the rates are $18.00

• $1.00 for No Frills

+$1.25 for Nights and $.75 for Evenings

Cooperstown Center is currently offering fully sponsored Paid CNA Training for eligible candidates who will work at our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Location of Employment (after training):

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:
