Job summary

Slate Valley Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing offers a paid CNA training program in North Granville, NY, with students earning during the class. Upon successful completion, candidates are offered a position in our facility.

Once certified, we offer $20.25 per hour, with an additional $0.50 shift premium for No Frills and for Evening/Night shifts. Daily pay is available through a trusted third-party provider, facilitating faster access to earnings.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with State Registry

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse
• Assisting with personal hygiene including bed baths and shaving
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake
• Feeding Residents and serving supplements
• Making beds and keeping spaces clean
• Transporting residents within the facility
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident data

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of theSponsored CNAprogram
• Valid NY State CNA Certification
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
• Ability to work as a team member
