Job summary

Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is offering a fully sponsored Paid CNA Training program for eligible candidates who will work at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Elizabethtown, NY. After certification, the CNA rate is $18.00 per hour with additional $0.75 add-ons for evenings and nights and another $0.75 for No Frills.

Location of employment after training is Essex Center, Elizabethtown, NY. Duties include observing residents, reporting health issues, personal care, meal setup,

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents in assigned units.
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements.
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data.
