Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
• Must be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.00 GPA.
• Must show proof of valid driver's license to operate state vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning activities and traffic engineering studies such as safety and speed zone reviews, traffic counts and accident/traffic signal analysis.
• Gain experience using CADD, MicroStation and district traffic software.
• Verify sign and pavement marking locations, photograph project sites and participate in field reviews and scoping.
• Research plans and maintain accurate records to help prepare reports.
