Job summary

The State of Ohio offers a paid college internship in the Transportation - District 12 Planning department in Garfield Heights. The role focuses on civil engineering activities, data collection, and TAM-related analyses, with hands-on exposure to CADD and highway planning tasks.

Qualifications

• Must currently be enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
• Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering preferred.
• Overtime-eligible based on FLSA Standards.

Responsibilities

• Travel to collection sites to assist office staff with data collection.
• Assist in literature research, data collection and analysis and prepare preliminary reports.
• Develop Transportation Asset Inventories and TAM activities.
• Use Geo-Spatial analysis to support TAM and map generation.
