Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Base rate is $18.00-$19.00 with a $0.75 shift differential for Evening and Night Shifts and an extra $0.75 for our no-frills rate. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Daily Pay is available through a third-party provider. We offer flexible schedules for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per-Diem, and a range of benefits including tuition reimbursement, education discounts, and two-tiered

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of a CNA program and current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Prepare meal trays and record food/fluid intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Successful completion of a CNA program

• Current CNA State Certification

• Must be in good standing with State Registry
