Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Elizabethtown, NY. Base pay is $18.00–$19.00 per hour with a $0.75 evening/night shift differential and an extra $0.75 for a no-frills rate.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bed baths and shaving.
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake; help feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep residents' spaces clean and tidy; transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

DUTIES

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
