Job summary

LCS invites students to join our Business Applications Internship for 12 weeks full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. You'll gain hands-on experience by contributing to meaningful projects, testing, training, and collaborating with teams, culminating in a presentation to senior leadership.

The role includes mentorship, exposure to leadership, and networking opportunities. Pay is competitive at 22.50 per hour, with a completion review and potential future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Minimum of 2 years completed towards bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
• Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities.
• Develop business case for assignment, stating value, resources, and milestones.
• Work closely with manager on weekly updates against milestones.
• Develop rollout plan with IT and business users.
