Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or similar field preferred.
• Strong accounting ability with knowledge of finance, economics, investments, insurance and statistics.
• Bloomberg Terminal experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work on a team independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the team by assisting with projects and duties to advance department goals.
• Complete special accounting and analysis projects using multiple financial systems (e.g., SAP, Prophix, Workiva).
• Assist with preparation of internal and external reports.
• Maintain effective, positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external parties.
• Assist with maintaining and improving internal controls.
• Adhere to Sammons Financial Group Companies' values (Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect, Integrity).
• Regular attendance as per Company policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
