Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business/economics or similar field preferred.
• Basic understanding of insurance preferred.
• Strong accounting ability and working knowledge of finance, economics, investments, insurance and statistics.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and general computer skills.
• Bloomberg Terminal experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the team by assisting with projects and duties to advance department goals.
• Complete special accounting and analysis projects using multiple financial systems (e.g., SAP, Prophix, Workiva).
• Assist with preparation of internal and external reports.
• Maintain effective, positive relationships with internal and external parties.
• Assist with maintaining and improving internal controls.
• Adhere to attendance policies and other stated rules.
