Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a Page Operator for weekend scheduling (every other Saturday and Sunday) and holiday shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The role involves answering calls, routing direct dial numbers, and maintaining accurate contact data for essential medical and non-medical personnel.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of prior experience in a similar customer service or call-answer environment.

• Experience: Six months of previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for direct dial numbers, department numbers, physician on call status and department functions utilizing an automated computerized system.
• Handles special and priority calls such as medical emergency, code alerts, and time sensitive calls from the general public, patients, medical personnel and other Hospital's clients.
• Updates data base and customer profiles to reflect the most current contact information of essential medical and non medical personnel.
