Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Page Operator to support the department on every other Saturday, Sunday and holiday, 3:00p - 11:30pm. You will answer, screen, and process Centralized Attendant and Radio Paging calls for patients and staff.

Use an automated system, update databases with current contact details, and ensure information remains accurate. A high school diploma and at least six months of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of prior experience required.

• Handle high-priority calls such as medical emergencies, code alerts, and time-sensitive calls from the public, patients, and staff.

Department Summary:

Page Operator (every other Saturday, Sunday and holiday 3:00p - 11:30pm). Answers, screens, and processes incoming Centralized Attendant, Radio Paging calls from a customer base. Ensures computer data is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responds to requests for direct dial numbers, department numbers, physician on call status and department functions utilizing an automated computerized system.
• Handles special and priority calls such as medical emergency, code alerts, and time sensitive calls from the general public, patients, medical personnel and other Hospital's clients.
• Updates data base and customer profiles to reflect the most current contact information of essential medical and non medical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High-school or GED diploma required.
• Experience: Six months of previous experience required.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
